Mary Saw an Angel

Last night was Rose’s first ever Christmas pageant, and it was about as awesome as we figured it would be. Pre-K kids in Christmas pajamas…yes, please! Singing songs about Jesus and Santa. Absolutely adorable!

I was so proud of her. She overcame some stage fright, sung her little heart out, and this morning, decided she wanted to record her song for my show. All we kept saying was that it’s amazing to watch our kids grow up and develop skills and talents and get to share them with the world.

I can only imagine how God looks at us with pride, especially when He sees us answering His call and embracing the challenges we face, hoping to give glory to Him in the process. There’s a real gift in being able to experience just a glimmer of that pride as a parent.

So without further ado…Rose & Pre-K Theology: The Annunciation.
